Novegum™ G888 Hydrocolloid

Novegum G888 hydrocolloid is a naturally occurring plant hydrocolloid derived from the Cyamopsis tetragonoloba seed. This product is a technical grade of guar gum with a white to off-white color. It is designed to be used in conjunction with other hydrocolloids for air freshener gel applications.

Product Benefits

• Reduces syneresis or pooling of the fragrance/water on the surface of the gel.
• When Novegum G888 hydrocolloid is included in an air freshener formulation along with Novegum C865 hydrocolloid or Novegum G866 hydrocolloid, it will further improve fragrance release rates. Additionally, the combination of cassia and guar gum will result in improved gel strength, faster curing time and reduced overall formulation costs.
