CARBOPOL® ETD 2691 Polymer
Carbopol ETD 2691 polymer is a patented, easy to disperse lightly crosslinked polyacrylic acid polymer that is synthesized in a cosolvent ethyl acetate/cyclohexane mixture. It provides greater versatility in formulating because it is a fast wetting polymer. Carbopol ETD 2691 polymer has long flow characteristics with relatively low viscosity compared to other Carbopol polymers.
